What is included in the entry fee?
Race information packs will be sent out approximately 7 days prior to the event.
Your entry fee includes a commemorative T Shirt, goody bag, and water at the finish line.
I am having difficulty entering and paying online, who will I contact?
Please check carefully that you have completed all sections of the entry form and have read the Important Information section. If you still have problems, please email: Debbie Vickers or telephone: 01642 452 488.
Do I get a refund if I have to withdraw from the race?
As stated in the Important Information (Rules) section, no refunds will be given to competitors/athletes unless the event is cancelled.
Is it possible to defer my entry over to the following year if, for example, I am injured or unable to run for other reasons?
Unfortunately we are unable to defer entries to the following year.
I do not have an email address, can I enter online?
Unfortunately you cannot enter online without an email address but you can enter by post. For an entry form please contact your local TVLL site (full details available via www.teesvalleyleisure.co.uk) or telephone 01642 452 488.
I live abroad and will already be in the UK when you send out race packs?
Overseas entries should collect their starter pack from the registration desk on the morning of the event. The registration desk will be open from 8.00am.
When entering, please notify the organisers that you will collect your starter pack on the race day. Please make sure you bring your letter/email of confirmation of entry with you as proof of entry.
When will I receive my race pack, race number etc?
All race packs and race numbers will be sent out by Royal Mail approximately 7 days prior to the event.
Are there other races/fun runs on the day of the event?
Yes, there is a 3 kilometre Family Fun Run this year open to all ages. Please see the Race Information section for further information.
How many drink stations are there on the half marathon route?
There are 3 drink stations on the half marathon route with water available in sports bottles. Also, at the finish line water is available to all runners.
Have any of the routes been measured accurately?
The Half Marathon (13 miles 192.5 yards) and route has been accurately measured by a qualified UK Athletics measurer.
Is it possible to enter on Race Day?
There will be a very limited number of half Marathon entries available on the day. You must register and pay at the race office on site between 0800 and 0930. Entries on the day are charged at £21.00/£19.00** UK Athletics club members.
We recommend that you enter this race in advance to be sure of your place.
You can enter the Family Fun Run on the day by registering and paying at the race office on site between 0930 and 1015. Entries on the day are charged at Adults £6,00 and Under 18’s £4.00.
Are pushchairs, prams, roller skates, wheel barrows, animals, etc allowed in any of the races?
Due to Health and Safety reasons, we do not allow pushchairs, prams, roller skates, wheel barrows, pets, dogs or horses to take part in any of the races. Only guide dogs are permitted.

Who are the event organisers?
The event is organised by Tees Valley Leisure Limited based at Eston sports Academy, Normanby Road, South Bank, Cleveland TS6 9AE.
Is there a minimum amount required for fundraising?
You should contact your chosen charity direct to discuss their fundraising requirements. Small amounts of money can make a huge difference to charities, therefore all we can ask is that you do your best.

Where can my friends and family watch me run?
The races start and finish at Kirkleatham Museum and Showground and this is probably the best place to watch the event. Also for the Half Marathon, the race can be viewed anywhere along the route but please be aware that some sections will be subject to road closure during the event.
